ODST's Vs Spartans
I've been playing Halo Wars over the year with Halo 3 and I just came up with an idea of who is the better soldier.
ODST (Orbital Drop Shock Troopers) or the Spartans?
Fancy a fight together to see which is the UNSC's best soldiers.

really the only thing that could beat a spartan would be an ODST because ive seen hundreds of spartans die by the hand of a brute with a gravity hammer. i saw three ODST's kick a brute in the grave with sheer manpower and a knife,and have you ever seen a spartan get hit directly with a grav hammer and live? romeo did so stfu... nuff said... ODST's KICK SPARTAN BUTT!!!

Hardly a fair fight if you ask me. I much prefer ODST's.

Master chief took down lots of them in a training exercise, & he also took down 3 in a boxing ring without his armor. The book also says Spartans, "can practically see in the dark". ODST FTW! They are just awesome and very skilled for a normal human, doing suicide missions with style and coming out alive (usually), but of course, our spartans friends deserve cookies, because we all know they kick covenant ass.

ODSTs because they are normal humans yet one survived all by himself in a city full of covenant.

On halo wars the odst are like the flood they just never go away. But if you put one squad against one spartan then it is fair but in my opinion spartans rule

14 year old john 117 killed some of the best odst in the weight room (sorry i forgot the name of the ship and everything) but he had no armor on at all.... he just flat out beat em to death... i love odst in halo wars but when it come to whos better spartans II's every time

I think that's pretty obvious -_- Why you would ask this questions is a little confusing since Spartans have shields, increased health, higher jumping, and better training.

SPARTANS ALL THE WAY!! Spartans can take on sveral ODSTs.... They are soo advanced and well trained, I cant even describe it....

Spartan II's snap ODSTs like twigs. Spartan IIIs might have a tougher fight. also depends on numbers, and which SPartans are against the ODSTs and in gunfight or melee.

Well to me i think have to be about pure skill on both parts, spartans are strong, fast, and have shields but even ODST have taken care of Elites who just as strong, fast, and powerful as elites. Close quarters i do believe the odst would get slaughtered if they dont have element surprise. A well trained ODST squad could take out and Spartan/spartans if they work as a team and perhaps element of suprise. But it all comes down on skill basically
