Anyone else miss the yr1 shards system in raids
I ask because it seemed easer to get the full gear and know that you can fully upgrade it instead of have random lower then what you have on drop all the time. I like KF, but it's to time consuming for the terrible repeated gear lower then what you have. Why didn't they keep it like yr1 where you use the shards max out your gear and weapons? Idk
Edit: if they fixed the RNG so that players only got stuff at a higher light lvl than what they have, and stop with the repeated drops in KF it wouldn't be a problem.

They -blam!-ed it up with this new system. How do I know? Well if my friends aren't playing this game and I'm still not motivated to do the raid, that's when you have epicly failed. Year 1 had more players. Idk how many people bought Taken King, but if I based that solely on the amount of people who played destiny weekly during year 1 to people playing Taken King aka year 2 weekly, I guarantee its going to a massive difference in numbers.

3 RepliesBingo. I have a post on this, but it's too long for the average (teenage) forum reader to digest. We used to have control over our ability to upgrade our gear, and that upgraded our level. Now it's all up to luck. And that's just stupid. (facepalm)

I totally agree I want the old system back with shards and energy. It made you feel liked you accomplished something when you leveled up a peace of gear or weapon.

No, I miss the upgrade system from Prison of Elders. Etheric Light, guaranteed armor and weapon upgrade every week. With Oryx, you can run the whole raid and LOSE shards at the end ...

6 RepliesI like year 2 better for levelling up, don't have to rely on shards and sure it makes it a bit harder to reach the max light lvl but that's what makes you keep coming back. I hope they stay with it tbh

Edit: I miss most of yr1. there a lot i don't miss( RNG, NF,STORY MISSING,ECT), but I do miss the old light system and the marks separation across guardians,ect. Lets hope they get destiny 2 right.
