Kills are important in Control. The only problem that I see, is that those that choose to do the killing are always the least capable. I alternate between controlling an area, zone hopping and straight out killing, depending on the flow if the game. In Control you need to have the ability to adapt the situation on the battlefield.

If you have more zones capped then you get more score simple as that more score =wins somehow my teammates never understand that....
