Snipers have this BIG red glare on them that says "Hey LOOK AT ME I'M GONNA SHOOT YOU"

If they are hardscoping a doorway they will kill you as soon as you turn the corner there's not any reaction time. You can also stop at every corner and wait for the radar to come up for a crouching shotgunner. There's counters to both but they are still the same.

Protip: dance before entering a suspected sniper lane. You can see around the corner in 3rd person. Alternatively, jump when you go around the corner so you don't get domed
