What's the dumbest thing you've seen someone do in destiny.
My dumbest moments were during crotas end when someone placed a trip mine on the ground outside of the ogre door, then proceeded to be killed by the mine he decided to place right below him. And one time we ran the dust palace nightfall with a random and the kid swore you had to kill all 3 of the bosses at the same time.
Edit 1: made the post destiny wide instead of strictly just raids, also added a "best of" where the dumbest gaurdian story's will be featured. Thanks to everyone who's shared their stories.

3 RepliesEdited by Voyager I: 2/13/2016 4:29:45 PMOnce when crota used to be the endgame, we killed the deathsinger and then instantly proceeded to wipe, without noticing we havent got the checkpoint so we had to re-do it lol. There was a lot of dumb things tho, like exploring vog trying to open those portals in the jump sequence, always someone getting lost on gorgons maze, and zeesh i dont even want to start on king's fall's ship sequence.

During Oryx, after we staggered him, we told a nightstalker to tether (people use tether at this part to kill all the thrall spawning and generate orbs for the team). Kid proceeds to tether Oryx's chest :')

1 ReplyJoined a KF normal mode to get my ravenous heart with some American dudes, one kid was playing before he had to go to school, proclaims that he had time for one more run... Gets to last detonation on oryx and he's the relic runner. Suddenly we hear "get your ass off that xbox boy!" And then the soul destroying sound of the power button being forcibly turned off. As angry as we were I couldn't stop laughing

Shadestep off of a platform at Oryx when they were just trying to teabag, causing the platforms to disappear.

Wiping for stupid things. But we killed her. 1 step closer to crota! We were clearing add's, and i was confident we had a checkpoint. So i convinced everyone to kill themselfs so we could start crota. Everyone dies. Spawn downstairs. Objective: kill the deathsinger. Fml.

Right before we were about to shoot Crota in the middle, a Titan placed his bubble down and we all blew up from our rockets. Rip

Ok I have one. At war priest challenge. On my warlock. Now ive done this enough times to know better. But I get red orb. Shoot adds we do almost half damage on WP. He activates the light show... I proceed to charge back down to the middle to get back into my spot...... and get killed by the light.... then think oh I have rez.... oh wait that took my rez.... "sorry guys if ya wanna kick me from the clan I wont blame you" was my reponse. (Im an admin that teaches new comers the parts in our clan)

So I came out of the portal, jumped over the gap to stand in mid, popped my super and fell into the gap. My team still killed Atheon but that was funny AF.

Told my friend as a joke that ward of dawn bubble protects you from the mortar strikes, when we all used to do the running phase against oryx. He died.

1 ReplyI've seen people with over 4000 grimoire fail the VOG jumping puzzle. Like, as in need to respawn on Atheon. Several, several times.
