I am tired of being stuck with these 'stock' armor options for my characters. So I propose a new vendor that allows you to build your own armor from the ground up. Ranging from Rare gear to Legendary quality, Rare requiring Glimmer to build and modify and Legendary marks for Legendary level. Seeing at all the little bits and pieces that there are on current sets of armor like ammo packs and grenades, blades and up armor parts. Even hooks for a harness system and lights of some kinds, each part added to the armor makes the 'upgrade' nodes. So a rack of Shotgun rounds is carry more shotgun ammo and so on. The more 'personal flare' to the armor increases the cost to build. While also the theme of the armor such as a Vex influenced set requires special parts from Vex mob types to get the parts needed to make them. Then Hive and Cabal themed parts and so on, it would in my opinion be much more fun to make my armor then take whats off the shelf which most just look weird and makes me question how its even armor for some Class sets. Like the Titans with no fore arm protection of just shin guards to protect the legs. Then have something like timed events to get a special part to get an unique perk of some kind for both PvP and PvE respectively. For both sides of the player base, it should not be just limited too PvE to build your armor. Let us build our armor to express the kind of guardian we are. Be it a Crucible champion and show mods of the PvP side of things and Then those that break the Darkness out in the wilds beyond the Crucible arenas. Its just my two cents and idea to add something to give us more creative force in the community of Destiny
