I searched up splatoon.
You know the game halo, black ops, ttk, and battlefront lost to. Looks like a game for children but only grown man play. Really? They all lost to a children's gate?

I barely played a demo of the game and I know it's not for me, but I understand why it won. Destiny is old now, CoD and Halo have been overdone, and Battlefront isn't even a good game...it's just a really pretty game that banks on Star Wars nostalgia.
