#Gaming

Ok why the hell do people keep posting Destiny topics in here? Honestly I'm curious, I get that it's not that common compared to how it used to be but still, do these people not know how to read or something? I truly wouldn't be surprised if that were true based on how downright shitty their forum is... #Gaming is much better.

  • Some do it because they're posting the thread onto every subforum (please inform anyone who does this that doing such is a punishable offense and that they should keep to one thread in the proper subforum of the 4). Some do it because they tried posting the thread in one of the other subforums but got no responses and figured that they'd have a better chance in a different subforum (please inform anyone who does this that it's called intentional cross-posting and is unacceptable in the eyes of moderation). Some do it because they think these forums are just part of the Destiny app (rare nowadays, but if you find one, just let them know that this it actually connects them to the Bungie.net forums and that #Gaming's not meant to discuss Destiny. Do so nicely if possible, and avoid calling them a Desticle. If you can, also tell them how to edit the thread into a different subforum.). Some do it because they figured #Gaming is for any game and that Bungie doesn't mind, and that Destiny is a game so they won't mind (Quoting ninjas and employees saying otherwise, and linking to cozmo's thread pinned to the top of this subforum goes a long way to moving these sort of threads, alongside the same stuff for the Destiny app folks. If they end up being too stubborn about this just report them, moderation's job is to help maintain forum structure, they can move the thread themselves if they notice the report.). In some rare occasions they do it just to mess with people in #Gaming, typically the people who helped get the thread moved (no need for kindness, just report their ass and make sure others do as well).
