I've been trying to solve this on my own but I'm throwing my hands up for help now. I've spent too much time and money trying to solve this and Activision's support isn't supportive of consumers and I'm very disappointed as both a customer and a gamer. I'm an Xbox 360 Player migrating to the Xbox One and I have few issues with Destiny. 1.) All other users on 360 & XB1 consoles are locked out from playing anything other than Destiny Vanilla and the first two DLC's. Access to any content are fine until the Taken King, where the game is forcing the other members of my family to buy the content or not play it. Our current work around is to log me into the console and into the game, then log in another user (which is annoying since my other family members get kicked out the moment the first controller is touched or powers off on its own). I have contact microsoft, figuring this is some kind of issue with the purchase being restricted when it shouldn't be, and they, after also becoming completely baffled, directed me to activision and wished me the best of luck, apologizing for not being able to assist me. I reached out to Activision's live chat support whom kindly informed me that this is the intended function of the game and all game content. I was informed that Activision's policy is that each and every gamer should own their own copy of the game- whether it be destiny, call of duty or any other Activision title , even if they live in the same household. I was then directed to purchase the game at full price for each member of my family by activision's live chat support. I thought I was getting brushed off by a lazy support rep, but when I had my brother try another day later he received the same line from Activision. So there's that issue. Now since I previously purchased Destiny and the first 2 DLC's, I ended up doing the taken-king only option for the Xbox 360 and I believe the issue lies in the shoe-horning of that version of Destiny. 2.) Now I pre-ordered Taken King for the Xbox One and migrated over when I got the Xbox One a month later. None of my Pre Order Bonuses (except that which is already equipped) is available to me. I see them in inventory, but they all say "Requires the Pre Order of Destiny The Taken King" or something to that effect and everything I've found online has failed to fix that. I'm reluctant to delete and re-download it since in several cases online I've seen other users state that the bonuses completely and permanently vanish. Either way, I really, really really want to play and love this game but the technical issues locking me out of content in the game I purchased and having to spend a half hour explaining to family members the steps required to play Destiny or troubling shooting when they get randomly kicked or simply deal with their own frustration has left me drained and fed up with Destiny. [i]I should be able to relax and play this game, not get agitated and stressed out --- and I all I want to do Vault of Glass with a team that isn't gonna kick me- despite trying for over a year.
