Is it possible to do kf hard with just 300 light?
Or would I just get -blam!-ked up? I got Tom so I don't think I'd be completely useless

3 RepliesIf your on ps4 I'll be on all night tonight. I don't usually do the first part of the raid just the totems and after. I've only done the jump puzzle once since there is no real need to do it.

Based solely on all the posts I have read though, I would venture yes but you are going to be carried somewhat, and where you will really let your team down is at Oryx. The rest of it is doable. I believe that at 310 everything shows as hard, at 311 it will be normal and 311+ will be just down to skill as your light level will be more than sufficient. When I finally get round to it, I will happily run the earlier parts of the raid for the drops and try and boost my level to 311+, but I don't want to be the hanger-on at Oryx. Won't be everybody's view but just my two pennies worth.

Yes but you won't be able to kill oryx at that lvl unless you have at least 2 310+

My friend did hard mode as a level 296 or 298 and he said he did it with ease but he stopped at oryx and I asked him if he got carried and he said he managed to hold his own so yes I'm sure.

Can it be done yes. Should it be done no. If you do the normal raid a few times you'll get your light up.

If you get a few good armor drops on the way it should be OK- most groups were at 300 when hard mode launched. But you won't be a big help to your team- I'd just focus on not dying.

2 RepliesYes. The first two fights are recommended light 300. Golgoroth is 310 but doable if you focus on staying alive more than dps. Sisters as you have ToM you'll be fine. By then you should've higher than 300. I've beaten Oryx HM doing "normal" strategy with a 303 (they were decent despite lower light). 300 would be tough at oryx, but certainly doable. You would however need a team who were good, and could adapt to put you in the "safe" position for each fight. Worst case you do the no knight method on oryx which frankly as long as you have 3 at 310+ (runner and ogre duty) you could have whatever the minimum light that the game will let you have for hard mode and still do it. If you can't find a group to take a 300 just make your own, making it clear you have a mic, communicate well and will listen to the more experienced players, but that you just want to experience hard mode. There are plenty out there like me who'd happily run you through.

Edited by Chizbad: 11/30/2015 1:08:09 PMOh it can be done... You may not do much boss damage but if you're a beast you'll be able to play your part and with a good fireteam it could be done. But for now, it's the normal raid for you. That's what you should focus on, and within a few runs you will be well above 300.

7 RepliesYou would be basically useless. Even with ToM, the entire raid is based on if you can do enough DPS to the bosses. It would be possible but you would be carried through the entire raid
