Why do people care about light when doing Raids/Trials etc..
All I see is "301+ light to join". Why? If you have a high enough level (35+) with some exotics and good weaponry; why should your light count as you being a good player?
I get that "the more light you have, the better the armor" but why should your light level prevent you from teaming up with people?
P.S: Just curious as to why this is a factor when playing. I just returned after almost a year of inactivity. So post seriously please? No flame.
READ BEFORE COMMENTING: Since some people have something stupid to say about me being new or being a "noob" or shelfing this game;no. I deployed and have been gone for almost a year. Now that I am stateside, I want to catch up.

Edited by RogueAgent-11: 11/30/2015 5:11:58 AMAs stated, the higher the level, the higher the damage you can take and dish out. Many also look at the higher level and gauge whether the player will struggle to get through. Since many want to get things done quickly, they ask for higher level and assume they will be the better more experienced player. If you are on ps4 and need someone to run around with, let me know. Have plenty of other friends who could run stuff with you as well. Gmsieb
