No more excuses for not getting Black Spindle
You should be over 300 by now and the Heroic Daily just popped on a Saturday.
No more excuses like the "I have to work and have kids so how can I do this tough Daily on a weeknight??" one.
It's well worth it. Get it done today.

I have a 310 thousand yard stare, touch of malice, and am lazy. There's my excuse for not eating it. I don't feel like infusing it up from 290.

I have black spindle but i could find plenty of other reasons not to play a game

I worked all day, spent some some time with the kids and when they went to bed, I went to the pub to watch the boxing. People have all sorts of reasons to not be playing a game.

Fun fact. Not everyone work from 8-16 monday-friday. There really is not a single thing in destiny that requires using black spindle. Lets be honest here. Pve content is easy and there are better weapons for pvp. Its not hard to get one but for everyone who doesnt have it, you are not missing anything.

I guess it's just a knee Jerk reaction to get salty these days, but the first thing that ran through my head was "why bother, snipers are just gonna get nerfed in a couple of months". More importantly I'd like to understand why so many people make statements like "there is no excuse for *blank* by now". It's not like anyone owes anyone an explanation for the way they spend their down time. People will undoubtedly look at my profile and say that I'm just a 297 with no spindle so my opinion doesn't matter... and in this respect they are right, but neither does theirs. I'll get it when I feel like getting it, but I'm playing something else right now , and when I do come back, sniper rifles are low on my priority list. Plenty of good reasons not to have it yet, including "I don't care about it, and "no one on my list is playing destiny, so neither am I".

It was actually really fast to get a group. Never had the time to even try the mission when it was on during the week as my work schedule is different now. And we got it done 2nd run with 2 min left

I tried one time got a guy that didn't know the door will close if your slow, we got there and he blamed me and said I didn't pick heroic. I stopped playing Destiny shortly afterwards because I was bored with it so I haven't been able to try again

I've lost count of inviting or asking to be invited by people who want it as i do, only to be met by non response. Get your pyjamas on and £uck off to bed - AND THERE AIN'T NO SANTA CLAUS!!

Another missed opportunity. No friends on and am not doing Lfg again. Ran legacy strikes all night. Pretty fun actually. I'm sure the L20 low light guys didn't mind.

1.5 hours and many unreturned messages before I finally had a group of Destiny's LFG. Then multiple runs with zero completions. Even had the big guy down but couldn't mop up quick enough. Fun players, but communication usually went near silent as soon as we reached the last room. Afterthoughts, I could have ran Bladedancer to cloak and revive teamates faster and use the Arc Blade. I could have used Gunslinger and my Celestial Nighthawk, for more damage to the boss. Nightstalked made for quick cloak with smoke but the Gravity Bow seemed too weak. :(

It really wasn't even challenging to be honest! Keep in mind I haven't done Black Spindle since it was the daily the first time and finding out about it. So back then it was hard to me...but now? it was a damn near cake walk. You're right OP. With all of the higher light levels, it's WAY easier.

Still nope. Friends' list is empty as people take breaks or quit - made some new ones but this and (heaven help me) Trials with folks at 280 or less ... Super painful.
