My son has destiny but doesn't have TTK yet will it still work if I refer him and accepts and buys the game that way?

Cant use console sharing. Has to be independent xbox live accounts and bungie accounts

Yea he has his own account and has destiny but hasn't bought TTK YET

Send him a link now and complete the link process BEFORE he starts the TTK.

I tried the game sharing and did a little bit of TTK should I delete that character?

Shouldnt affect you in any way. As long as he has his own game, his own "PS4/XBOX live account, and his own console. He might want to delete his game saves and content, but I am not sure how that works with PS4 sharing.
