Everyone bitching about Cut Content...
What the hell are you whining about?
Destiny is a great, unique game even with all of its flaws.
I do not understand how people try to justify their complaints on how Bungie decides to price and sell their intellectual property.
If you do not like how bungie has done it, then go -blam!-ing make your own video game;)

2 RepliesGo watch the first trailer back from 2013, the one that's lime 11 or 13 minutes long. There are still parts and cut scenes in that trailer that I and no one else has ever seen yet. Seriously like everyone please go watch it, tell me I'm wrong

Why you ask? Because they showcased the game back in 2013 and then changed everything without showing us or telling us so they basically falsely advertised it. Then on top of that, when the lawsuit that went public (I think it was with their musical director that they fired and he won the case) it showed us the different side of the story. Apparently killing Crota and oryx was originally planned for the normal game, not as DLC. Why would you be okay with this? If no one calls out BS like this more companies will cut content and reuse it as DLC.

Just remember the Internet is full of people who, if upset over something, can come up with insane theories and get people to blindly follow it based on circumstantial evidence or by making a mountain out of a mole hill. The ones that stage there was all this cut content are also the ones who badmouth people for hating a game that they themselves enjoy. You're thread has given me the opportunity to pick out a bunch of users to mute, so thank you for that.

2 RepliesThe proof is right there for anyone who has been here since day one to see. Why are missions that were level 34 when they came out now level 14? I'll tell you why, incase you're too stupid to have noticed. It's because that's were they were suppossed to be originally, but they were removed. Have you noticed one of the missions that came with TTK has a kind of mini tutorial on how to kill the oracles in the vault? Seems like that would have made more sense BEFORE we killed Atheon. Only idiots and fanboys think content wasn't cut. I won't be replying to anyone who comments on this, I've said what I have to say, you believe what you want, because in the long run, I don't give a shit.

13 RepliesI will only believe all of the 'cut content is currently on the disc' posts IF: Someone managed to play Destiny without any update whatsoever and being offline. And that person recorded everything. Nkw thats how you truly see if content was locked on the disc or not.

1 ReplyIn order to make an argument one should put themselves in the shoes of the person with the other point of view. Let me break it down. Let's say, for arguments sake, we have 2 types of destiny players. 1, players who have been actively waiting for this game since it was announced as being worked on, you rode that hype train for a really long time. 2, Players, like myself, who purchased day one but did not ride the hype train. What I got out of destiny is far and beyond anything I could have expected from a video game, I borderline look at video games in a whole new light. Multi-player used to be a bonus for me, now it's borderline necessary. So there's always gonna be a difference in opinion between these 2 general types of destiny gamers. Hope I made even a little bit of sence there.

You can't. Show me how a year one player who has not yet purchased TTK still enjoys the year one Destiny in all its glory having paid for it. You can't.

11 Replies100% agree. Nobody watches a movie and complains about all the cut footage. Video games are an art and while yes its a business somethings must be compromised. And yes destiny is extremely flawed but it has its moments that make it special. I don't see why ppl complain about something they have no clue about if you hate the game just leave it, if you criticize it because you love it, then give feedback they can work with. But I guess haters going to hate.
