Here's a weapon for such a wish list, my old fusion rifle, the Murmur. I don't know if it's rare, or other people think it's crap, but I've never heard anyone talking about it. It's base stats are decent, it holds 7 rounds per mag, which is higher than any current FR, and of course, the best characteristic is the ability to switch from arc to solar at a moments whim.

Not rare , everybody that got the dark below got it at some point.
-
Susanno would be just as good if it's element changed back after a while seeing as right now you have to die to reset it.
-
I thought the Susanno's element changed if you switched sub class and caused any sort of damage with that class's abilities. I didn't hear about a cool down period.
-
It would be more convenient that way though
-
Actually it has a 10 minute cool down before deactivating
-
Never seemed to work for me...
-
Big loss there, for a gun that's hard to max level.

I wouldn't say a moment's whim since you had to go into the menu and switch the perk. But I did like the versatility.
-
Yeah, after I typed that I thought that wasn't exactly right. I wanted to get across that the perk could be switched back and forth and wasn't a one-time choice.
-
Susanoo is basically year 2 murmur
-
Very basically. Thanks for the tip. I checked it out and was bummed to see it was a Warlock exclusive and in order to change the element to the one you want you have to be in the corresponding subclass and use an ability from that subclass. The mag also only hold 5, not 7, like the Murmur, but 5 is okay for yr 2 FR. The upside is it can switch to any of the three subclasses and's not restricted to two like the Murmur. I main a Hunter and am just now working on my Warlock, so I'll have to wait to test it.
-
Did you know susanoo does two elemental damage types at once? The solar damage stacks with arc or void. Unfortunately the perk is useless for sunsingers cuz solar damage
-
No way!? That's awesome. No, I didn't know that. That changes my decision process, for sure. Thanks for the info.
-
Really? I'll have to test that.
-
Fired arc shot at a centurion and broke its shield in one hit. Pretty sure it works
-
what level was the centurion? the only true test would be an enemy in a nightfall, where non matching damage will result in a significant damage reduction and a 'resist' message.
-
Try it out, I'm pretty sure it works
-
Thanks for the testing tip. I'll make sure to save my judgments until I can test on a NF.
