So let me get this straight Bungie... you want me to refer a friend?
Sure, I'll tell my friends about your game.
I'll tell them how you constantly screw players over, time and time again. I'll tell them how unethical your game design really is, how you create loot addictions and rely on those addictions to keep people playing.
I'll tell them how your game is basically a poker machine, how they will grind the same stuff over and over again in hope of getting a useful drop, even though it is purposefully designed not to drop, just to keep them playing.
I'll tell them that if they want to progress to the highest light levels, they will either need to dedicate their life to a clan, or spend as much time outside of the game finding teammates as they will actually playing the game. I'll tell them that they will need to repeat that process again and again and again for months on end to reach their goal.
I'll tell them that along the way, they will have some of the worst gaming experiences in their life. They will get extremely frustrated with the lack of reward for their efforts. They will get frustrated with the strangers they have found online and have to rely on to achieve their goals. They will also be abused by some of those strangers if they they happen to make a mistake themselves.
I'll tell them that if they manage to overcome these purposefully created obstacles and finally reach their goal, you will render their efforts useless by releasing "expansions" that make their gear obsolete.
I'll tell them that you will eventually patch out some of these frustrations and your community managers will make a huge deal of it, like we should be grateful that you have fixed something that shouldn't have been broken in the first place.
I'll tell them that you will say you have listened and promise to be better next time. I'll tell them that by the time they realise you have lied once again, it will be too late - they will have already wasted their time and money on you.
So sure Bungie, I'll tell my friends all about your game. I'll do my best to Deter a Friend.
Actually, I already have... and I will continue to do so.

Do I get a reward for convincing 8 of my friends to get rid of Destiny??

Thermonuclear BUMP https://youtu.be/DryGWs9u6jU !! I do NOT and would not F***my friends over by recommending this organized criminal enterprise to them. A fraud based game like this needs to be burned to the ground and not pushed on to other people.

I got my roommates to not buy Destiny. It would have been great to have people to play with, but I just couldn't do that to them. I plan on deterring everyone who asks. Told somebody last night about Bungie removing content from non-DLC buyers, they won't ever go near this game.

If you hate destiny so much why are you even here? Go do something you like... though I kind of doubt anything would make you happy... except perhaps complaining. ..

BOYCOTT BUNGIE AND ACTIVISION Here's a petition that I believe will help us gamers send a message to bungie and activision, so they learn their lesson and other producers and publishers can take note to not follow suit with more unethical business practice...which will improve games for ALL gamers. If you are a conscious, concerned and responsible gamer...take a look, it's a lengthy explanation and has some great ideas! https://www.change.org/p/bungie-activision-bungie-activision-guardians-are-you-with-me-bungie-activision-enough-is-enough

I think bungie missed business 101, keeping 10 existing customers is cheaper than acquiring a single new one. Idiots. I hope this game flames out hard and forces them to either make a better game or shut down permanently

Lol eventually BUNGIE will start nerfing sparrows because they go too fast. That's how desperate they are to make the community frown.

Testify!

Superb!

Refer a friend? How about focusing on keeping your current player base?

I've put a lot of hours into this game, found out the other day that a 3rd of it has been spent in orbit or the tower. This is probably the age it takes zoning into new areas and looking for teams on 3rd party websites so I can play their game.

Can I have a Amen?
-
Refer a friend kinda makes me laugh. I might refer a friend or two if they actually made it worth my time. For an emblem a shader and a sparrow it's not gonna happen. Try harder bungie.
-
The ironic thing is that a couple of my friends refuse to buy this game despite the number of times I've tried to convince them to get it. And it's all because they've heard me complain about it week in, week out.

Deter a friend....makes much more sense if they are really friends. Why would I ever want them to go through this bungie (we don't give a shit about you or your time) experiment? No way!

Destiny's newest most sought after item? A noob AKA Kindergaurdian. Already the sub reddits and LFG sites are toiling up to help us collectors of loot find these ever elusive noobs. If this Is Luke Smith's and Deej's idea of keeping a game fresh, they are in trouble. It is a long time till Septemeber and the hype train won't fool us like you did this year. I think Bunige is trying to make people quit. Maybe the theory of Destiny being a mind game experiment run by the CIA is true. Maybe Bunige is secretly trying to save us. Yeah that's it. No one can be this is dumb on purpose. On a side note, notice how the game publications like this idea and the players hate it? Also notice that you tubers seem to always get the best gear? Notice how the you tubers for destiny always get awesome rewards and the game never screws them? But yet many of us go through the same exact thing, often more then they, and get screwed. I still haven't got the warlock raid chest and I have been beating the raid since day one. Clash suck for Iron Banner......... But I digress. Fallout 4 was on my mind........
