Bungie, Please understand that this refer-a-friend thing is not going to work. The forums are flooded with veterans looking for newbies that don't exist. We veterans have exhausted our resources recruiting people from the time of Dark Below to the Taken King. I understand that we have received VIP reward (sparrow, emblem and shader) but these are still obtainable until February 2016 and newbies aren't locked out of getting them. Solution 1: Allow every veteran one token on their account that they can redeem at the speaker with one other person in our fireteam which allows us to run the friend missions together. Solution 2: Matchmaking so you can be paired with someone through the game and not forums who is new. Solution 3: Just sell the items for silver so if we can't live with any of them we can just buy them.
