A guardian would win because...
1. They can get revived by their ghosts if they die
2. They have many abilities that would give them a serious advantage over a spartan
3. They have weapons that would make short work of any spartan (vex mythlocast, gjallarhorn, swords, etc)

Except when you look at the weapons Spartans are using vs Guardians you see that Spartans a toting much more fire power and have much better armor.

Bro, we literally have guns made of the Hearts of Gods and rocket launchers stolen from Pits of Darkness, which was in the control of a God before we killed him.
