1 ReplySo this is what people think, three of coins chances increase if you've had the vanguard streak for more than two strikes. This is because Luke smith said we haven't use 3oC to its most optimal usage.

Tankis, Valus, dark blade tend to be my best. But, seriously, I've had so many exotics drop this week - I'm on about 12, with 3 more 3oCs left. A few have been 310s, but I'm not complaining. Not sure if the lack of players has effected RNG; even most rare engrams are dropping 300 for me and several legendaries have dropped exotics - including a 310 alpha lupi. Been an insane weekend for me on destiny.

I use the ultra knight on the Dreadnaught. Or run The Coming War mission, it's a five minute mission with the boss right at the start. I've actually got most of my 3oC payouts from that mission.

My best luck has been with the Ultra Knight and, oddly enough, the Taken Cabal Champion on Mars-he seems to like me for some reason.. Honestly the easiest way to do it is kill the Ultra Knight. Got three exotics from 20 coins that way.

The best, easiest, and consistent place I've found is the Ultra Knight in the Cabal Ship on the Dreadnaught. You have to jump up and over the door in the middle of the ship to get to him. It's just past the big Generator looking things if you come in from the mausoleum side or just before if from the landing side. Sometimes you have to spend the time to kill all the adds before you jump over the door. Once inside there are a few more before you reach the Ultra Knight. He's easy to kill. Very easy to solo too. After you kill him go to orbit and repeat. If you just come back out he won't spawn again, or if he does it will take forever.

2 RepliesI personally like to mix it up. I've had good drops from the taken event bosses, in Skywatch when the enemies move, on the Dreadbaught when they move, from stories and from strikes. It seems the daily heroic stories gave been good to me. But mostly just mixing it up. I'm guessing there's different tables for different ways and maybe (again guessing) you have better chances when hitting a table you haven't hit recently?

Pop one before you start patrol on the dreadnaught, then go take care of the ultra knight in the cabal ship. He won't spawn again until you go to orbit, but he's given me a couple 310 exotics.

Run the enemy of my enemy mission on the dreadnaught, find the secret entrance, youtube if you dont know it, easy to kill major you can solo and i have gotten quite a few exotics from him
