I'd like a rational answer as to why I have to press L3 seven damn times to get my sprint to work again once I stop running??????.
For a game that relies on agility and timing, this is a fundamental and TERRIBLE design flaw.
I run platforms most of the time when killing Oryx and the damn COOLDOWN has shafted me on more than a few occasions. Please tell me I'm not the only one that notices this glaring issue?.

There's no cool down. Aiming your weapon stops the run. Hitting a bump stops it. Running into the totem stops it. If there is a cool down. I've never experienced it.
-
Hit jump. Let's you sprint again right after.
-
Hahaha totally agree

Honestly the cool down isn't that bad. Time your jumps and landings better dude. If you do it right you don't ever have to stop running.

It's because bungie wants to match the guardians endurance to the stamina of the gamers in real life
-
Personally, I time it out fairly easy, but it does have it's moments. Almost like blink jump, you get one every so many seconds, and I've been shafted on that quite a few times as well... XP

Been like that since day one and it sucks. I really don't see a reason to have an unresponsive sprint button like that especially when trying to navigate obstacles and corridors smoothly.

Agree.

I agree it's annoying. I found that if you switch to your special and back to your primary you can sprint again. It seems to be faster to me to do this than to smash the sprint button three or four times.
-
I thought it was just a glitch since it was so random

This is my number 1 thing I hate about playing destiny. I'd love to see it removed. For anyone else who also hates it, please bump the topic. It's the only way we can bring it to their attention.
-
Yep. Most annoying thing from day 1. Not being able to run for no apparent reason. Give us an audio cue or something, like the COD breathing. Frustrating.

Bump.

I made a post about this months ago. The way to do it is to make it a 0.5-1 second cool down to make sure it works every time. Any game I played with stamina never glitches because there was some sort of indicator which in Destiny's case, there is none.

Isn't it unlimited sprint, it's just when you suddenly stop, do an action, or take a tight turn that it seems to glitch when you try again.
