Hello fellow Destiny Players. So this past week me and my friends finished the Oryx raid for the second time. The raid itself is really fun and i can't wait to see what Hard Oryx has to offer but one thing stood out after the second week of doing the raid. THE DROPS SUCK! Now im not talking about the gear itself (stats, ect.) i'm talking about how random it is. Several people on my raid team only receive moldering shards until the the Oryx loot drop, which in some cases is okay but overall, that sucks. The Oryx raid is end game and for those who aren't well rehearsed in the strategies; the raid can be pretty hard. If you beat a boss like gogeroth who is arguably the hardest boss you should at least get a piece of armor or a raid weapon. My opinion, either or should be garinteed. BUT what really makes the loot drops broken is how random it is. When going through the raid this past week, i recieved a pare of raid boots, which is a good drop but i already had a pair. This is to be expected seeing as i received the boots from the same boss both weeks, so i wasn't super mad; happens in every raid. What really pisses me off is that when we killed Oryx I received a second pair of boots! yes, that's right, two pairs of boots, the same week at two different loot drops... That is stupid bungie. I believe that the drops should be random but you should not be able to receive the same loot twice in the same raid. THAT IS CRAP!! The loot drop should either A) recognize that you already got that drop earlier in that raid or B) only drop random specific loot at specific points like the other raids. Im sure im not the only one who this has occurred to but it should be fixed. Tell me what you think.
