Tried using the Uffern HC4 both in pve and pvp...the results were mixed.
In pve, I really liked the feel of the weapon, it was actually pretty fun. The gun hit hard enough and was fairly consistent. I must say the ammo nerf is quite annoying though.
In pvp it feels like Bungie curbstomped HC's, spit on them, lit them on fire, then desecrated the corpse.
IT WAS TERRIBLE.
Idk how to describe it, it's like its hit detection was now all up to RNG even when pacing shots. There were times where I CLEARLY had the head shot lined up, fired, turned around to engage someone else just knowing I got the kill when NOPE, complete miss.
Somehow it feels like hawkmoon escaped this terribad feel, but legendary hc's are struggling crucible wise.

Try the Water Star (trials handcannon), it's probably my favorite y2 crucible primary
-
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I guess
-
Eysaluna is the only lavenders handcannon I use in crucible
-
Broken like auto rifles

Hawk moon and TLW works just fine I think; TLW is now in its proper niche and is adjusted to how the gun is suppose to be wielded by the user. Legendary hand cannons always hand problems even prior to 2.0 I think. Don't know if it's the hitbox being bigger on exotics, or even the aiming being clearer on exotics (rather than the small aim on legendary HCs); the difference in feel is apparent.

Last word is still godly if you know how to use it.
-
Legendaries yes, The last word is awesome though
-
I must be a rare breed. I only feel hawkmoon missing. Other HC shots are top hit beside range.
-
The struggle is real. Anytime you see a nerfherding post... mute the author.
-
Nah I still use thorn and do reasonably well depending on the map. I use it to piss ppl off and works I get plenty of hate mail. Just find a hand cannon you're most comfortable with and try that.

Except Hawkmoon
-
*cough* *cough* hawkmoon *cough*

RANGE...what Destiny nerfed about Hand Cannons are the range....So when using a Hand Cannon in PVP...you have to find those with HIGH range..and of course Luck in the chamber would be a plus...This is why the Hawk Moon still works in PVP..it has REALLY high range....and you can get two shotted when the luck in the chamber procs

Totally agree. The damage fall seems so bad at times the bullet disappears altogether.
