Goodbye life. Goodbye family. Goodbye Destiny. Goodbye Halo. Goodbye life. - From my 25 hours play-though, I give this 8/10 so far. Nearly a 9. I will do update edits on how the game is. But i'm sure it'll be amazing. I will also try and answer all post questions. Fire away! UPDATE 1: I'm back! - Everyone talks about graphics. They are a little behind BUT only on the faces. Still however the game is beautiful. As the sun sets and rises the light looks incredible. 8/10 for graphics. - The beginning is fantastic. Instantly you're put into this world and you feel part of it. There's no feeling forced to do anything. Just like Fallout 3, it's up to you what you do and how you do it. Also the story here GRABS you! You'll all find out soon. - The way characters speak to you and engage with you is great. I want to punch some people in the face already! Putting your name in at the start of the game is a good addition, as everyone calls me 'Matt!' - Gun play is a lot of fun, pistol is surprisingly strong. Ghouls are -blam!-ing terrifying!! Prepare to die a lot. They get up super fast and just jump you. - Haven't come against a Deathclaw on foot yet. I don't want to! (You do fight one at the start in the big suit however. But it was easy.) - Map size is extensive. You can go anywhere you see and any door leads to somewhere amazing. Get loot hunting! Still feels as amazing as savaging in F3. - Creating your own settlement is a lot of fun but highly addictive! Out of the 5hr+ play time, I spent 1hr+ just clearing out a house for my people and making it look nice. Beds to sleep on. Water pumps. Food gardens. Towers with guns for protection. What's great about this is when you find a tree, you can dismantle it and it gives you 'wood' that wood can then be used on anything from a chair to a guard tower. This is the same for cars, kitchens, post boxes, tires, fences etc etc. *** UPDATE 2 *** - 9hrs went in today. I'm typing on my phone so this'll be brief. - The story finally kicked into gear when moving to Fenway park (the Fallout 3 equivalent of Magaton.) it's really good. Characters are all prefect. - Lots of new enemies face to face. Died a lot. Legendary enemies re charge health which catches you off guard! - Gunplay is even better now, after getting used to it. Firing from the hip works.
