Raid Drops (if you can call it that)
6 Weeks running now, I go through the raid in both hard and Normal mode, All the way i get shards to have Oryx take 20 shards from me to give me 2 shards and wormspore. Fix Your God Damn Drops!
it is not fair for us to put so much time and effort into doing the raids (6-7 hours) and not get items from it. You clearly dont care about the people who spend so much money buying the game to see 200+ posts about this happening in your forums. It is about time you step up and fix the problem!
I for one am pretty much done with this garbage of not getting items from the raid. I cant sit there day after day and just get nothing.

Nothing to do with the scout rifle you have dropped, or the ghost? Or the 319 warlock arms? Or the feet at 307? I don't fully understand what you are complaining about. Its rng, you have only done 5 completions on oryx- its like you want and expect everything without actually putting any time in. Am not being nasty, but you came across like you was getting nothing but mouldering shards- clearly not the case. That aside, I wish you better loot drops for the future.

2 RepliesEdited by Admino: 11/9/2015 3:32:44 AMI think one problem here is that although everyone is guaranteed a reward, that reward could be an empty slot on the loot table (that is the only thing I can think of that explains what people are reporting). That means that they get a reward of "nothing" which is effectively the same thing as getting no reward at all. The following are my thoughts based on the above understanding: 1. There should never be any empty slots in the loot table; people should be guaranteed to get something tangible (for a digital world) in their inventory. 2. All boss drops should reward a piece of raid gear (apart from normal Oryx who requires 20 shards). 3. All rewards that have a light level should have a very high chance (say 85-90%) of being at least 1 light level higher than what the person has equiped for that slot (the other 10-15% would mean an item drop that's lower in light level that what is currently equipped. That will give people a sense of accomplishment and progression and give the appearance that "bad luck" only happens sometimes instead of most of the time. 4. In principle, the hard mode should not drop any loot from the normal raid loot table. If people wanted normal raid loot, they would run the normal raid. People are running the hard raid so they should be rewarded primarily with hard raid drops. Bungie allowed double loot rolls to reward people for running only the hard raid and save them from essentially wasting time doing an activity that is no challenge. Providing an extra roll from the normal loot table is fair compensation (considering it is a free gift) as long as the primary reward of getting a hard raid loot is guaranteed (points 1 to 3 would resolve this). 5. Wormspore, shards, and any runes that drop from chests/bosses should be considered as a random extra additional reward. There should be no case in which nothing but a combination of the above items drop from a boss fight (unless the person downs normal Oryx and has less than 20 shards on their character).

12 RepliesThis is more of a Feedback thread than a Help thread, but before I move it there I need to make sure of something. You do know that doing Hard mode gives you both Hard and Normal rewards for the week, correct? If so, then either you or I can move this into Feedback.

I have, myself, gone through the raid several times on hard mode only to find moldering shards as the hard mode drop and most of the time nothing else for the normal drop. I've killed Oryx 5 times now on hard raid if I recall, and I've gotten rewards every time but about 1/5 of the time I received something higher than what I was wearing, which should be looked into. I know if the progression of gear that dropped most of the time was in our favor we would all be level 320 by now, however it seems more often than not the odds are against us meaning the drop rate for further progressed gear than what we have on is very slim.

I feel like there is the issue of the normal and hard rewards getting mixed. I've done hard mode second week in a row without doing normal first and allllllll 310 and below drops.. Either bungie fixes it or do normal and then hard. Just very time consuming.

Yesterday after one week and a half trying i finally kill Oryx on hard Mode, got 2 3coins activated and 53 fragments¡ and the MF drop me some 314 gaunlets I already have on 317 (that droped on the preist btw) and a piece of chest on 304 when tho golgoroth on easy gave me on 310, WHE ARE YOU GONNA FIX THE GODDAM DROPS ON THE RAID, EVERYBODY ON MY FIRETEAM GOT 318 and 320 WEAPONS AND IM STUCK WITH THE 314 GAUNLETS I ALREADY HAVE¡¡¡¡ Looks like im done with the raid¡ also when we return to the tower anyone but me got something on the postmaster..... IM DONE WITH THE RAID¡¡ THANK YOU BUNGIE YOU SUCK¡

Guess i got lucky, only done raid to golgorath twice and got 2x 310 kingslayer shells, 307 sniper with firefly and 305 rocket launcher. Sorry boys :-)

The same thing just happened to me. I even checked the post master and there was nothing there. I had 51 moldering shards on me.

Every time I've run the raid I've gotten 1 pc of gear and 1 gun. Too bad i keep getting the chest piece and nothing else, and that shit pistol. I cri evrytim

I quit doing the raid after my third Anguish of Drystan and my 3rd titan mark and shit all else. Pretty much done with Destiny though. I'll come back if they make my vision of confluence usable again though...-blam!-ers.

4 RepliesSince bungie patched the loot system(normaly you should get better loot you Need) i always get the Same Things i Allready got. Nothing new, Nothing really Need. The patch was a pinch in our destiny guardians Face. Plz fix this. In Times where black ops3 comes, And some other Great Games, this failure Would cost you a Lot of player!!! Sry for broken english, i am german this is just School english

I've ran the raid twice, 1st time all the way to Golgoroth, nothing but shards 2nd time all the way to the daughters, this time I got 305 boots for killing Golgo. The rest was shards & also opening chests gave me more shards.... Deff needs to fixed. I really feel like I'm wasting my time I the raid

Sorry to hear it but glad I'm not the only person this happens to. This week I did get some drops, 4 in fact....shotguns...across the characters. The rest of course was shards and spore. Oh wait. And 1 normal pulse at 303 which got sharded.

1 ReplyI've been raiding KF with random teams good and bad and the most we took to complete it was an hour or an hour and a half so if a raid it's taking u 2+ hours to complete then you need a team, there's been times where my team completed the first three bosses first try so yea changing teams might help man
