Dumbest reason a teacher got mad at you?
My 11th grade English teacher got mad at me for saying "goddamn". Threatened to call my parenys about it. Told her to go for it.

Edit: I find it funny that new posts tend to start around the time schools let out.
Edit 2: I have to admit I never expected this to get so big.

Class is done so teacher walks back to her desk and everyone is sitting waiting for the bell (literally 2 minutes) Pull out my phone to check the time. Teacher demands phone. Walk out of class. Detention. [spoiler]the whole point of taking away phones is so they don't distract from school work, no justification for taking my phone other than she hates me[/spoiler]
