Halo 5 is a flop...
...is something we were all told by 343 haters, Bungievision fanboys, shit-tier trolls and console fanboys prior to it's release. We were told something about bowing down and kissing their feet by one of these undesirables as they would be right. The undisputed moron of #Gaming trolled so hard bitching and whining about micro-transactions etc.
So Halo 5 is released and all these idiots arguments have dissipated like their brain cells, their arguments have been shot down in flames.
Carry on trolling as the more Halo 5 hate threads just proves that it is an success and really you are threatened by Halo 5's epic-ness.
For those that actually own Halo 5 played through the campaign and didn't skip the cut scenes you know the campaign is longer than 5 hours which is something I have heard here lmfao (play it on Legendary). Good luck with the Warden on Legendary solo!
Multiplayer is nothing like CoD which was another common misconception and trolling point. Halo 5 has a balanced skill based arena just as Halo should be. Dedicated servers are glorious, no more laggy games unlike Bungievision's game using peer to peer servers.
Warzone isn't pay to win, it's play to win! Gold req packs are easily attainable by playing Warzone and you also get req packs by achieving commendations in other MP modes.
For all those Halo 5 players bask in its goodness and ignore the morons, the more the shout the more they feel threatened.
343 has truly taken the mantle whilst Bungievision fumbled with their mantle and reputation with its on going quest into mediocrity.

Otherwise, I play Halo for its solid shooter mechanics, great story and memorable characters. That fight between cheif an locke??? Oh man I had goosebumps!! Like you say, let them hate, I loved the campaign an will be playing it on Legendary, been beasting it up on Warzone, saved up to 50,000 Req points, took me like 15 to 20 games, but I do that on purpose because I like to open multiple packs at once. 50,000 points got me 2 gold packs and 6 silver packs ALL WITH SOME RARE AND ULTRA RARE LOOTS, lol.

If you need to recommend that we should play on the hardest difficulty to extend the playtime, it means it failed to be long. I've Played every Mass Effect game on the easiest difficulty and what do I get? A 30 hour game just as it has been intended. You can't call your game an 8 hour experience and then say "oh, you have to play on legendary to get that play time". It doesn't work like that. Edit - The best part about Halo 5 is when fanboys defend the P2W system 343 created. It breaks progression and it gives actual gamers no reason to play the game when it rewards so little and demands so much of the player. And no, saying it is optional is no excuse because that won't stop other player from dumping $100 in gold packs and spawning every single vehicle and Power Weapons forever.

The campaign felt short. The worst part? Those 3 "storytelling" missions. Those missions felt more like fillers. The only part I liked was that grunt on the ledge singing. Now that guys a star. 343... It feels like they focused more on the multiplayer then the campaign. It worked. The multiplayer is ridiculously fun to play. But the campaign just wasn't as fun as I thought it would be. But my god, that Squad AI was absolutely terrible. -[i]The guy with no house.[/i]

There's nothing to do. Play Campaign. Play Warzone. Play Arena. Farm Req for cards. It should have launched with Forge and a File Browser. And you should actually get rewarded for commendations. I finally got my last assassination, and all I get is an emblem. No Venator armor. No Wetwork. They're ugly, but still. Just some cheap emblem.

I've played about 10 games of war zone out of like 30 where a few guys on the other team just called in so much shit immediately and we got butt -blam!-. So congrats 343 you managed to be the first pay to win $60 video game. But wait free dlc you say, well I would rather pay for dlc than have a bunch of kids paying hundreds of dollars on micro transactions. What's worse is the rng of micro transactions. It's a blatant use of slot machine addiction.

7 RepliesWhile most of what you said is correct, you need to realize the flaws in this game. The campaign is out of the blue. Coming from someone that has played every game besides spartan ops, and read most of the books, I have no clue how any of blue team reconnected with master chief, or who any of fireteam Osiris is besides Buck. This alone raises too many questions. Like what happened to the rest of the odsts in bucks group? Are they Spartans as well? How is Linda not dead, and where where did Kelly come from? Pvp is great, but arena maps aren't that good, with a few exceptions, most are pretty bad. Just look at orion. Warzone is awesome, I have no complaints on it. Req packs are another story, as it alienates anyone who hasn't bought the warzone pack or any gold packs. It's not pay to win, but it is pay for power.

And measuring campaign length shouldn't be exclusive to the hardest difficulty, in which you die for an hour straight to a shitty designed boss battle, inevitably skewing the overall time it takes you to finish the game. -6 unique Arena maps. Pitifully low. -No forge at launch -No assault, headhunter, infection, races, etc. -No Big Team at launch -No file share -No social playlists -Go in as solo and still put against 4s -Ranking is taking a while to settle in. 0.75 KD players shouldn't be in Onyx Slayer. -Orion blows ass Most of these MP problems can be fixed. But it is still ridiculous H5 didn't launch with many of these featurs. I'm still getting CoD, but I won't play it as much.

4 RepliesBiggest complaints I have heard: The AI (specifically team mates) is awful and hinders the flow of some missions. With all the resolution and framerate mechanics doing its magic, things 25m or more suffer from stuttering and lag. The story was ultimately disappointing because it did not follow up on halo 4, rather it relied on its extended universe, which cuts off some of the halo franchises core fanbase. The lack of firefight/spartan ops. Warzones REQ packs are so hard to get that it essentially makes it a pay to win game.
