First night we did HM Crota roommate got 3 cases of beer between two of us we finished 2 of them, rest of our team was stone cold sober. That moment when he self-rezed to save the team at the bridge (he'd gotten across 2nd but got killed by a sword knight) I'd died trying to keep the bridge up for the third person across. Didn't really say much other than "Dude it's scary over here" suddenly ogres are dead and everyone gets rezzed. Rest of the team didn't even know we'd been drinking (any time either of us died we'd get up and grab three-four beers) until we killed Crota, when my friend turned and looked around, grinned at me and said "Dude, is there any beer left?". Everyone started sighing and saying "I knew it! No wonder we wiped (laughing)" Et cetera, but roommate and I'd clutched the bridge and abyss/shrieker chest respectively and died on raid about the same amount as everyone else and we were pleased as punch with ourselves. If I was guilty of anything it was trying to be a meatshield for other people as a hunter. Only time I've drunk Destiny'd but it was a gas.
