SIDEARM EXOTIC IDEAS?!?!

ALRIGHT SO HOW COOL WOULD IT BE TO HAVE A SIDEARM EXOTIC THAT IS DUEL WIELDED, !?!?!?!? IT WOULD DO THE BOWELS ON SHOTGUNS! I mean for real! This would make this Sidearm Rule in PVE and PVP! OR! A PRIMARY SIDEARM THAT IS LITERALLY THE DESERT EAGLE :D!! OR COLT 1911, HOW AWESOME GUYS

  • I think just a slower firing higher impact sidearm would be sweet. Legendary or exotic. And full auto ones too. I'd also like to see magazine perks do more. 3 rounds? Try 5.

      • Gregs promise is bad anough If that gun didn't have travel time... All HELL would break lose as that gun dose 62 dmg in crucible per bullet And it's a burst weapon that's like 193 dmg

          • Do not get me wrong, I love sidearms, but they are nothing more than junior hand cannons. (I dislike contractions) Don't believe me? Swap you secondary quickly and fire your sidearm whilst the weapon looks see-through, what weapon does it sound like? A hand cannon of course!

            • Had an idea for one called the polygamist that's exotic perk would be adaptive response, which after 3 shots to a shielded enemy would cause the weapon to switch burns to match that enemies shield Description- one just isn't enough

              • Poke_ops took the idea right out of my head! I was just thinking the other day how cool and exotic full auto sidearm would be. As long as it has good stability I think it would be a beast. I think that's why dregs promise's hit acquisition is so bad because they were afraid to make it Op lol. I swear if that thing hit where you were aiming it would melt people (kinda already does even with the bad shots)

              • Red Vector: heals allies that you shoot at, has a sunbreakers-esque barrel with glowing red energy Your New Best Friend: Increased damage for a short time after switching to it from a weapon with a recently emptied magazine, kills during this increased damage buff can trigger a variety of effects such as: spawn orb, reload a weapon, buff a stat, etc. Multiple can potentially trigger from the same kill with some luck.

                • That would be awesome but the dual wielding would make for insane rate of fire and T2Ks in crucible. For this it would be smart to have a sidearm similar to vestian dynasty from HoW where their was bullet travel time and a sharp range drop off to balance it. It would still be a beast at short to low medium range though and would love to see it added into the game.

                  • Havoc pigeon is the first sidearm I've ever used and actually liked in pvp. Gotta say the silencer has a lot to do with it. It's got that [i]Mida[/i] feel good to it. [b]The Havoc Falcon[/b] Body shots aggressively seek dome piece!

                      • just stumbled on a really cool thread on reddit discussing sidearms at length and constructive discussion on ways to improve them, the first such thread on sidearms focused on the new taken king ones and how to improve them i've seen on reddit so far...normally sidearms get ignored or not discussed there or people blanketly deride them without ever trying them, but it seems they are finally finding some enthusiasts. here is the thread and i encourage everyone who likes sidearms and everyone who enjoys good discussions about weapons features and how to improve them to give it a read. many of the comments are just as insightful if not more so as the original posters post, and the discussion in general is just amazing ive been reading it for the past 20-60 minutes and havent came close to reaching the bottom of the comments and yet instead of just finding repeats i keep finding new ideas and more good insightful comments. https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/3qq3ec/why_do_sidearms_still_feel_like_an_area_of/

                        • I thinking of an idea for an exotic one. Its called bad rep. Its got a sort of uzi design. So perks Main perk: Drive by: This sidearm fires in full-auto Also includes: Resupply: Spawn with reserve ammo First tree: ballistics First Perk: Grenadier Second tree of perks: one, speed reload two, hand-loaded three, extended mag third perk: Bad rep: Kills grant bonus damage for a short period of time, kills while proced will increase damage even more and can stack up to four times.
