Sir they were left there to be forgotten because some of them were overpowered. Think of gjallarhorn, super op and people were only excepting people who had ghorns. Armermentarium is kind of the same thing an extra grenade is all you would see in trials. So this is the same with the ram. And the Titan exotic helmet with tracking for all rockets would make dragons breath OP. And then a lot of other things are in the same caseinario.

we need op weapons lol
-
Overpowered? Thats a lame excuse my friend, what are patches and balance update for? Vex was op then it got nerfed. Its not about a weapon being overpowered its about them forcing us to like and buy the new stuff. Plain and simple
-
Some of the new exotics are pretty nice. The biggest issue however, lies in the fact that the old subclasses lack a lot of important exotic armory. Weapons could also use some more diversity.
-
As if to say that isnt happening now with the new exotics...show me where 80% of all raid threads on here dont say "must have malice" for the raid party or sleeper simulant. That makes no sense bungie effed up that is all the year ones should have remained so we could continue our journeys with our favored weapons and then come across the new exotics as usual for us to make the decisions ourselves not be forced into them. "Nope these weapons i took months to get suck now HAVE TO USE NEW ONES" where it should be " well my thorn does dot damage but has a smaller clip size, malice does double damage but i could kill myself. Maybe if i use this at this part and switch at this part i could blankity blank. But its not that way. Raid= have malice or kick rocks betch. Just like before with ghorn

Quest exotics are a lot easier to obtain no RNGUESS involved.

Thorn was a quest exotic...Whats your point

Edited by Killlerschaf: 10/25/2015 6:24:15 AMGjallahorn got nerfed. The Ram got nerfed. Thorn got nerfed. The Armamentarium was the only exotic giving the Striker a useful neutral game. I really don't care if you think they are OP. This is nothing personal. Bungie said they will all eventually move forward to Y2. Those were their words. And since we now have the hard mode raid released and most of the time gated exotics as well, I think that it's time to give us a schedule for when the currently missing Y1 exotics, will finally make their return. (edit: Dragon's Breath was basically the most useless heavy weapon in the game(outside of blue and green ones. Not including a certain Xerxes C with Focused fire). I really doubt that a bit of tracking would make it suddenly OP. Except of course we could make Oryx fall out of the map with it... Nevermind)

I get the last part lol I did that to templar and Atheon those were the good old days.

A long long time ago, I still remember...
-
But I liked dragons breath :(
-
I do too! Such a fun weapon to use, and nobody cared about it, with Gjallahorn and Truth around :(
-
I know the hot head just ain't the same I miss her pretty sharp teeth
-
And the sights! Or how you were leaving behind a trail of smoke, when you had the weapon on your back. Very fun weapon! Btw, when will it finally come back?
-
Ikr but idk Bungie needs to bring it back I want it so bad!!!!! #SAVETHESMOMKIMGDRANGON

Any source for this or are you just assuming bungie said all of them are coming over to year two?

Edited by Killlerschaf: 10/25/2015 6:14:50 AMThe "some may be held back for Y3" was something I couldn't confirm with any other source. If this is how it's going to end however, then this is a monumental failure in terms of communication. And it definitely doesn't make me feel better about the 7th Alpha Lupi Chest either.
