Hammers can be shot out of the air and it is difficult to hit jumping enemies with hammers. It can take 2-3 hammers to kill a guy. Hammers should do 210 damage so it can't one shot other supers. Besides that it's fine. People just don't know how to counter it yet. The same thing happened with bladedancer s in the beginning of year one. People have, since then, found good ways to kill them. The same thing will happen with sunbreakers. Maybe lower the speed at which you recover with cauterize

Really? Hammers can be shot out of the air? I doubt that, it would make the super useless against any competent team. And HoS is definitely not useless. As for reducing hammer damage - that still doesn't fix the problem of Hammer of Sol's major wipe potential.

Except that potential is much more probable than Arc blade's team wipe potential or any other super's team wipe potential. And I still doubt hammers can be shot down. Do you happen to have a clip of it or something?

Nope. I don't know how to record. I've also been one shot by golden gun twice today.

You can be oneshot by GG if you're not running full armor with a solar armor chest piece. And I've been trying to shoot down hammers - unless their hitbox is minuscule, they can't be. And I've even been throwing hammers directly into PvE fire to see if maybe they can shoot it down - nope. Either I have really, really bad luck or hammers can not be shot down.

The damage falloff is way too far out for that to be the case unless [i]every[/i] video of a Sunbreaker surviving Golden Gun is cross-map and I've seen ones that aren't. And I'll believe hammers being shot down when I see a video of it - so far, I haven't.
