It's simple, nerf the shield especially the recharge. And then either take off tracking or reduce area of effect. It shouldn't really affect pve but turns off God mode in pvp and doesn't break it enough for people to cry about it (although they probably will)

  • Except honestly, without HoS at its current power level Sunbreaker as a whole is lackluster and mediocre. It [i]needs[/i] a neutral game power boost. I'm not looking to nerf Sunbreaker the same way Bladedancer was, I'm looking to make Sunbreaker into a healthily balanced PvP class, similar to Stormcaller (And yes, I realize the Y1 classes aren't as strong as the Y2 ones are. I specifically say Y1 classes need buffs as well).

  • I wouldn't call the Storm caller balanced. Like really these supers are pretty crazy but that one is second in the op list. I've seen people wipe the whole team with that In a few seconds. I think the thing is, where do you want supers to be? God mode or a temporary advantage. The problem is at the moment they are spread all over. Like titan bubble and sunsinger. In the grand scheme of things they are both pretty useless except self res in trials. There needs to be a balance. And just to make a point to counter what I've seen other people say, the new sub classes aren't, or at least shouldn't be better than the old subclasses. That's just stupid. The whole point is balance

  • To clarify - It's what I think balanced subclasses [i]should be.[/i] That is - I think each subclass should have the same power neutral game and during super as Stormcaller. It would require major tuning, but I have some ideas I'm working on for Voidwalker and Defender that would bring them in-line with Stormcaller's power without sacrificing their identities. Hopefully I can get them written up sometime and added to the main post.
