question is how?
-
Bump range up on the class as a whole and lower on the exotics that actually caused the nerf. It was always this simple but bungie went and did things... Ugh
-
i think their range is fine however the accuracy is another problem with continuous fire, it seems they have become pretty unstable as a whole.
-
Range will help accuracy. You'll just need to pull the recoil back towards the target which requires skill
-
but the original problem with hand cannons was that they were to accurate at scout rifle distances, we cannot repeat this problem
-
Not legendary hand cannons they weren't as bad as thorn or hawkmoon or even tlw. The only way they could compete or will compete now is if they get extreme range boosting perks which usually impact other stats now
-
the iron banner one was pretty tricky and now we have hawkmoon proto types and other legendarys that stack up better to the exotic hand cannons, in my opinion i get what your saying they need range because their semi auto but this does not solve their accuracy problem, they need three things to get back up to snuff - more accuracy when rapid firing - larger mag size and reserve ammo - better perks designed around the hand cannon archetype

I can agree with all your points. I was a sucker for legendary hand cannons up until this point. There isn't one single cannon that I like or see worth using over a pulse at this point. Perks heavily affect this as well. Unless I get a god roll I'll probably only use a hawkmoon or ace of spades ever in crucible which saddens me
