I don't think booting counts as quitting. I was playing with my friend in Big Team Battle and I killed him so he could boot me. The next day, after a few games of arena, I got a 31,000 cR jackpot. So, no, I think booting doesn't count. Also the same day my friend booted me i was booted when I accidentally killed a teammate with a Revenant.
