My first thought: OP wrote too much.
Second thought: its worth reading, not a whiny complaint post, and includes a reasonable attempt at analysis and constructive suggestions.
Nice job, OP. Thanks for making the effort! Bump for healthy participation.

I was afraid my effort would be wasted, hng. Hopefully more people will read it eventually.

As a middle-aged marketing writer I'd tell you that the only time your efforts are "wasted" is when you tie all value to outcome. If you can stand back and say that you put a cohesive piece together, substantiated with some facts, that actually has some direction, you can pour that zen into your next effort. Translation - getting validation from this group is like eating a twinkie - tasty, but not enough nourishment to live on, hahaha. Nice effort though. :-)

I did it for the hope of maybe getting fun, balanced PvP. I'm starting to realize that most people are too lazy to read a lengthy post and too focused on being stupid.
-
Well, I think PvP is fun, but I also think of it as a sort of fluid playground that's always going to benefit from tweaking, balancing, and flat-out changing some dynamics; that said, yes - some folks are just stupid, and some on here are just young, so don't spend any emotional energy there. It's pointless.
-
Indeed, I never held any illusion that PvP would be prefectly balanced - it will always change based on a multitude of things - but that it can be brought to a much healthier state where which class you choose isn't the major deciding factor in PvP but rather how you use your chosen class that decides the match. And yes...It's becoming obvious that you're much more likely to get a visible post if you say something stupid than something intelligent.
