Personally, I feel like the only real buff that needs to be made, is to make Shadowshot instantaneous on impact. That would provide a hard counter to Sunbreaker, without overly destroying its Super.

I agree that it would bring some much needed counterplay to Sunbreaker's super, however it would also pigeonhole Hunters into Nightstalker and not give Titans a reason to use the other subclasses. Preferably when balancing, you should strive for the most variety of choice possible.

Except that judging from past experiences, Bungie doesn't know subtlety when doing nerfs. See Auto Rifles, Fusion Rifles and Hand Cannons as examples. The overbearing nerfs we've gotten are the reason we currently have a five gun meta.
