As always, I would like to start this post by saying that this is an idea of my own creating. An opinion, if you will. So we hear small entries of text and dialogue throughout the entirety of the Destiny storyline about 'Toland, the shattered', 'Praedyth' and other such characters. I was keen to learn more about the characters we hear so little about, so I had a look on YouTube and found some very well scripted and well read Destiny lore videos from a guy known as Myelin Games, a very well spoken guy with an awesome accent. Although his content is very helpful and fulfilling in knowledge terms, I still find myself wondering more about these characters. My point is, (in my own opinion) Bungie should've created a string of story missions linked to the characters I mentioned previously, with cutscenes illustrating the story and unique loot included. I would personal love to find out even more about these characters, the references and related lore give a lot of information but I still want to know more about their back stories and their relation to the game. I'm well aware that Bungie won't be putting anything in the game relating to this. At least, not yet. As I said however, this is simply an idea that I wanted to share with those who feel the same. If you have any ideas or if you have your own views please leave them in the comments. On a final note, I'm thinking about starting a small project over a long period of time. I would like to use the Destiny lore to re-create the story, of which each selection of chapters will be based upon those characters we only hear tale of. Let me know what you all think. Low, out.
