Purchased Level 5 weapons should be sold at 300 light. No more, no less. The ToO gear for top people can be 310-320. That would make IB/ToO the PvP equivalent of what Raid/Hard Mode is to PvE.
NO IB weapons should have dropped at less than 280. No way should a person have to grind one of Destiny's "special events" and then have to use 3-9 marks + mats simply to make it useful for end game activity. Iron Banner is (as said by Bungie) a monthly "event". The gear should be set up to have more inherent value than a vendor piece.
Drop rates should be increased significantly. I say that not to sound entitled; but because Bungie stated that and they should keep their word every once in a blue moon.
No IB gear should be re-rollable. We all saw that mess in HoW.
Thing is, they don't want people in a position to have to fight >10 levels above them. Dedicated PvP players who aren't interested in prolonged PvE activity should have pathways to at least get in the 300 class for those purposes.
That's not giving anything away; that's just treating Iron Banner as the "event" they bill it as. Make the bounties require work, make us get to level 5. Fine. But make the reward system commensurate with the work.

Agree as well except for the rerolling. That has always been a part of IB and needs to stay.

I agree, but I found it cool how IB was the only way to re-roll. Excluding Felwinter's Lie, I thought IB weapon re-rolling was actually fine.

I am at 295 and most of the gear drops were between about 260 and 275 for me
