Is the sidearm currently being sold worth the marks? I've hit rank 5 on my hunter and rank 3 on my warlock and titan. I have the vendor pulse rifle. I want to try and up my sidearm kills for the grimoire.

This is my opinion, but I've been having fun with the vendor rolled Havoc Pigeon, even shut down a stormcaller with it in IB this week after he merc'ed two of my teammates. Just remember, sidearms are more of a backup weapon/anti shotgun tool, so don't try to snipe with em lol.

Cheers for the info mate. Ashamed to say I got shut down by a bloody Vestian Dynasty today. Couldn't believe it. I may have to go for it, it's literally just to update my sidearm kills and I believe the tower vendor ones are 150 marks instead of 90 for the ib one.

That is true that the ib one is cheaper, and zen moment probably is a great perk for a sidearm. I would've bought it, but had one drop with feeding frenzy/last resort/ high caliber rounds, so just saved the marks.

I disagree, I think it is worth it, sidearms take some getting used to but sidearms are hidden gems
