No Backup Plans buff.
I noticed that No Backup Plans now also synergize with shotguns. When you shoot enemy dead with shotgun, you gain the overshield (provided you don't have cooldown on your melee) as defender Titan, instead of having to get a melee hit kill.
I really like this buff, it's not OP buff, but it's something that just adds to my shotgun-happy gameplay in PVE.
I used to be a fan of these exotic gloves, being able to keep the disintegrate shield up almost 24/7 is a great buff for Defender class when you want to play aggressive.
Sooo thanks Bungie for buffing this item! :)

3 RepliesIt doesn't trigger for my titan. I main a warlock but i also use titan. I get a shotgun kill using imobious or how ever its spelt. And it doesn't give me armor. Tried with sunbreaker and defender but nothing happened.

(Would help make a solid defender build around those two pieces of gear) Makes me want to play as my Titan more often. Edit: hot damn, I'm not alone in my sentiment. Cool!!!

These would pair incredibly well with the immobius shot gun! So when you do have to toss that bubble down and they come rushing in, you can blast em with that shotty. Gets your shield up and costs no shotty ammo!

Well The thing is double edged sword. It gives overshield with shotgun, but because it uses melee charge It means that you trigger overshield when things are just getting warm. And 15 SEC later when you would really need The shield you dont have it. So it kind of prevents you from using shotgun if you dont want to use overshield too early. Example first 1 or 2 ultra minotaur attacks and 10 - 20 SEC later there will Be 3 ultra minotaurs.

1 ReplyPretty much PvE only. Shotguns in PvP will go right through your over shield and it doesn't recharge anywhere close to fast enough. Then again, might as well use NBP if you are using a Defender in PvP. There isn't a standout Defender Exotic armor at the moment.

So it takes the melee charge. Okay so it's fair. Was wondering how people kept getting over shields without punching anyone.

IMO it should give Force Barrier without consuming the melee charge.

4 RepliesGot these from the nightfall on my Titan. It's a nice perk. Would be even more powerful with a ward of dawn weapons of light super too.
