Guys, as mentioned on here, save some time and stop download, delete download, and turn off ps4 for a minute. Then turn your ps4 back on, and it should say "preparing download" in your download screen, or will appear to be frozen at 0%. Let it sit for 20 minutes. Once it has finished prepping, the download should start at 17.8ish out of 18.12.

Worked, thanks. Not the first time this has happened with an update. I don't have unlimited data, wish they'd fix it.

This process worked for me. Deleted my download, powered off PS4, unplugged PS4 for over a minute, powered back on, checked destiny for updates via option button, "prepared for download" for a good 15 minutes, then download started at 17+ GB out of 18.121 GB. Now I'm playing Destiny after a much shorter actual download. Good luck navigating this super bothersome problem everyone! This strategy has been posted numerous times, and it appears to have worked for a bunch of guardians other than myself.
