Trading Raid Drops [POLL]

I don't know if someone already posted this before, but I saw someone post something like this on Reddit and thought it was a good idea. Basically, you would be able to trade raid drops that you earn in a raid with anyone else that was playing the raid with you when you earned those raid drops. If you leave the raid you wouldn't be able to trade anything. This is perfect though, because after you complete a raid you don't get kicked to orbit. If you earned a raid drop someone wants but you already have it then you could just give it to them or trade it to them for a raid drop that they earned. Good idea? Edit 1: If you say no, could you explain why? You will only be able to trade if it is the first time you cleared that section of the raid for the week. This would prevent people from playing Raids with other people over and over again to keep getting more things. Now with infusion being a thing there is even more reason to run a raid, so people will still be running raids even after they got all the raid specific gear that they wanted if they want to infuse their gear and they will have more reason to keep their gear instead of trading it. Possible Mechanics:
Maybe since you don't get kicked to orbit after a raid they could simply make it so that you press the button to target a player (R3 default) and then there would be an option to trade. You would press trade then the other player would get a notification then they can press R3 (default) to accept or touchpad to ignore. If they accepted then a trade screen would come up. The players could select whatever tradeable items that they want to trade. Items that aren't tradeable to the person you are trying to trade with would be faded out. Then both players press "Confirm" and a 3 second countdown starts (you can cancel during the countdown if you change your mind). Then the trade is complete. You could trade back so long as neither person leaves that raid. Maybe a cooldown similar to the emote notification cooldowns can be put in place if you keep pressing trade on a player and they keep ignoring it. Perhaps there could be an option in the settings called "Allow Trade Requests" that you could turn on or off. Or, Bungie can think of something better.
Edit 2:
The only exploit that I haven't covered that I can see that wouldn't really be an exploit in my opinion (because people can already do it, albeit with less efficiency) is something I already thought about and have 2 solutions to. Basically, I was thinking that people could use this idea to take a low Light level friend through a raid and give them everything to get them to a higher Light level quickly. People already can do that now although they only get 1 chance with RNG at the moment (instead of a possible 6 if this were implemented). My solutions to that were to either only allow trading 1 piece of gear for another piece of gear or only allow people that are within 5 levels or higher of the recommended Light level for the activity to be able to trade.
• No as soon as tradeing comes in people will be selling it on eBay.

    • I'd say no. Bungie must have thought about this idea, but i think they chose not to do it (like any form of trading items between players) to avoid behaviors like "OK I'll help you, if you give me something".

    • Takes the fun out of doing the raid. I don't know about you but I could care less what other people get except my close friends. But if I get a duplicate I'm gonna keep it and upgrade something else maybe later on but that's what's fun for me is completing it and getting a drop and being able to brag until my friend gets one then he gets to brag because his is cooler than mine. Understand I like random drops. Look at borderlands 2 trading in that game ruined it with duplication glitches or getting better loot with no effort. I want to earn loot not be traded it.

      • Yes because I get duplicates all the time. And for friends who are struggling. I can help.

      • Possibly. This goes along with another idea I had, where trading could be available in the rewards screen between fireteam members only. After the rewards screen was gone then there was no going back. How would this idea work? Like mechanics wise.

No, because that would ruin the uniqueness of the weapon. And I am pretty sure no one wants to see some slacker get traded a rare drop with their buddy and the whole team just carried him/her. You are all one Fireteam. No one gets an underserved item without effort. I have seen it before(with RNG) and a mechanic like this would ruin the whole point of Destiny.

          • Amazing idea, I've done Golgoroth twice with no armor to drop, (I do have a chest piece from Moldering shards and Oryx though luckily.) and the people in my fireteam are getting lower defence rolls on duplicate gear. My raid rng has always been bad though, took 6 weeks after VoG came out, doing it every week mind you, to get a single drop, which was Found Verdict.

          • Just want to say if you say "no", could you explain why?
