Charged Agonarch Rune (bugged)
I have a fully charged Agonarch Rune that I charged legitimately but the terminal in the founts won't recognize it. The message still reads "requires charged agonarch rune" even though I clearly have it in my inventory. I have tried logging out and back in by switching profiles and also by turning the Xbox off I also have tried moving the rune to the vault and then withdrawing it. All have made no change and I desperately need the fragment you get from it.
Edit: Apparently this is bungie's hotfix solution to a very profitable farming glitch having to do with transferring your charged rune after activating the event to get the chest at the end over and over again. This isn't the first exploit having to do with transferring the rune you could also charge it three times a day by swapping it to other characters.
So my question is why was this thing even transferable in the first place??? None of these glitches would even be possible if this item was character bound. Honestly it seems like a very lazy fix on bungie's part to just break the quest chain so abruptly like that for all of their gamers most of which who have no knowledge such an exploit even exist just to stop a few people who are abusing a careless mistake on their part all the while barring countless people from any hope of getting all the calcified fragments required to get the touch of malice. This was a very detrimental change to the game seemingly with very little thought behind it just as there was very little thought put into the making of the rune in the first place.
Edit2: Do NOT discard your charged rune the problem is not with the rune we all just have to wait for bungie to find a solution to the farming glitch before we can use them!

I have done the fanatic of Crota before, and dumb agonarch runes don't work. I am at 44 calcified, can I still get the Touch of Malice right now or so I need to wait for Bungie to fix the damn runes

Man I just want them to fix it I've tried being nice at the start but now I'm just mad this is the last one I need I wasted time going to orbit and coming back to see if it works now I was so happy about reset because I thought they fixed but no they're checking it out

7 RepliesThat sucks, I'm at 43 Fragments for Touch of Malice. Was hoping to get one from the charged rune. I have an antiquated rune ready for tomorrow. I'm missing 2 from Tier 3 Court of Oryx. Look like I'll be waiting another week for 45.

Hey peeps, if you still need 1 calcified fragment like i did and the agonarch rune isn't working then you can just do a tier 3 court of oryx and it will drop a calcified fragment as long as its the first time during the week. That's how i got from 44/50 to 45/50. Hopefully people see this. Since bungie punished everyone

1 ReplyQuick question....what was the point in the glitch farming that chest once you acquired the fragment? Most of the chests I've opened around the dreadnaught rewarded me with a middle finger once I got the fragments. Does this chest give out a legendary or something? If people were farming it and getting the trash I've been getting from other chests, why even bother shutting it down? Let their dumbasses farm trash. Yes, I'm like everyone else in this queue. Sitting on 44 and waiting until tomorrow for coo....or bungie to fix their mistake. Bungie....I can't say you gained any points with your player base with the shotgun management approach you took. You caused a bigger problem than the insignificant problem you are trying to fix. Bad management 101.

Same problem here, Its been fully charged for a while but hadnt tried to use it until today and like everyone else it doesnt work. I have been trying to get my 45 fragments and this is one of the final ones. Appreciate any help you can give Bungie.

Sad thing the fix probably won't come before refresh when we can run court of oryx and get another calcified fragment there hopefully thanks to people that love finding ways to take advantage of the system we all get punished while they already got what they were looking for

If theres anything Ive learned from this is that people cheat cause they suck at playing the game properly, then bungie has to remove said cheat from the game, then people who suck at having an eventful and useful life complain that their only exit from social and or outdoor interaction has been removed or hindered..... let the men and women at bungie do their jobs please, its not easy to do otherwise all of us would be video game developers.....
