Can we drop Old Gen Now?
Its been a while since X1 and Ps4 came out. Time to evolve guardians I'm not having lazy people slow down the growth of destiny.
Counter to any insults.
I'm attending Berkley College with a 3.7 GPA.
I'm holding down 2 jobs in retail.
I have a car.
I have friends.
I have female friends(no girlfriend. Cost money to have one)
I don't lurk in my dorm room playing destiny you can check the gap between my recent games.
I have a ps4.
I weigh 149lbs yes I lift but not a lot.
I get the fact Destiny started development on old gen, so yeah why not finish it on old gen. However that's just being sentimental. Logically speaking if we drop old gen then the game would progress further.
Some post point towards my sexuality. Sorry to dissappoint you guys I'm not gay.
My my people just find things to hate on. Im merely stating im an average college student and people throw insults as if it makes them look better. But really children its time you grow up. Kinds like the game systems, so grab a current gen.

No. I've been saving up for an Xbox 1 for a year now. I'm 16 years old and I pay for a lot in my family. I can only save up bit by bit and I think people should respect that. Eventually, in a year to a year and a half then yeah, sure but some people still aren't able to save enough to afford it.

They're both almost ten years old, it sounds harsh but technology doesn't give a shit if you can't afford the latest and greatest, it just moves forward, because of that you can't use the arguments of "it's not fair, I can't afford it, I have other priorities etc", it's gonna happen whether you like it or not, at some point you have to accept that your console will be obsolete, it's already happening, in fact you're lucky games like destiny still run last gen.

The list of exclusives for next gen only are really lacking for me. Sure, they have plenty of games, but when most of those games are HD Ports(games made for both gens just the current gen has slightly better graphics) or even remake collections what's the point? Out of all the games that are exclusively for current gen only there are very few I actually want to play. The only games I really ever liked to begin with on Xbox consoles were the Halo and Fable series and There are maybe 4 games I want for the ps4 that are exclusive at this moment Most of the games that I want aren't coming out until next year at the very least and that is in all honesty when I plan to get to get a current gen console (Ps4 by the way). I honestly feel like the current gen was released way too early. So, tell me, why would I buy a new console now just to play a game that is out for a console that I already own and, for that matter, was announced for said console? When Destiny 2 (or whatever they are gping to call it) comes around I won't really care if they say it's on ps4/XB1 I won't have any qualms over it, but Destiny 1 was announced and originally developed for last gen, and even in comparison the graphics are the only thing that changes between versions.

6 RepliesI play on old gen (X360) and I want this to happen. There hasn't really been an incentive for me to spend more money on a new console since I can just keep playing my favorite games on my 360. Battlefield 4 is on 360, GTAV is on 360, and Destiny is on 360.

3 RepliesLong as people buy them they'll sell them. The number of last gen users may be dwindling but there's still quite a bit. I go back and fourth. Destiny is actually one of the on k y games I play on ps4. So logically speaking, if people are still buying it, why would they stop selling it? Now maybe destiny 2 may be current gen only, if the cost of making and supporting last gen doesn't justify the possible profit. It's business man.

The sole reason I haven't upgraded is because Destiny is the only console game I play. If they made it for PC, that'd be badass, but obviously they can't considering how much more badass it would be on PC. That's not me being elitist, it's just a fact that PCs hold up a million times better than consoles
