Its been a while since X1 and Ps4 came out. Time to evolve guardians I'm not having lazy people slow down the growth of destiny.
Counter to any insults.
I'm attending Berkley College with a 3.7 GPA.
I'm holding down 2 jobs in retail.
I have a car.
I have friends.
I have female friends(no girlfriend. Cost money to have one)
I don't lurk in my dorm room playing destiny you can check the gap between my recent games.
I have a ps4.
I weigh 149lbs yes I lift but not a lot.
I get the fact Destiny started development on old gen, so yeah why not finish it on old gen. However that's just being sentimental. Logically speaking if we drop old gen then the game would progress further.
Some post point towards my sexuality. Sorry to dissappoint you guys I'm not gay.
My my people just find things to hate on. Im merely stating im an average college student and people throw insults as if it makes them look better. But really children its time you grow up. Kinds like the game systems, so grab a current gen.

"I'm not having lazy people slow down the growth of destiny" STFU kid. how is not affording a £300 console lazy, sorry we dont all have good jobs or rich parents who dont give -blam!- about a healthy social life. eventually old gen consoles will run out of game data and future updates will only be viable on next gen consoles but until then we all get to enjoy what we get.

Edited by .: 10/11/2015 5:45:12 PMIf you save up $10 a week for 46 weeks you'd have a next gen console with destiny. My check comes in every other week so maybe save up $5 every week? You would have had next gen and destiny if you started this when next gen came out.
It took me less than two years to get a next gen because when it came out I knew how to save money..
-
Glad to hear you lift, bruh. Other than that, yes, it's been over two years! No other consoles were supported with AAA releases for this long!
-
Because an Xbone is not on my list of things to spend money on. If I waste $399 on a console, plus buying new games and probably another copy of Destiny, would just throw all my saved money. I'm not lazy, I'm just smart with my money.
-
360s being shut off next year, PS3 will probably be the same, so they wont have much choice.
-
No keep the 360. That's what I play!
-
Keep the old gen servers up but make Destiny 2 new gen only to maximize content and stop development from being held back. - A last gen user

Be gay. Do crime. - old
*sigh* Wait for Destiny 2. They'll drop last gen at that point. So please stop being an entitled asshole. -
Destiny servers would be way better
-
I'm staying on my 360 until I have to upgrade. No point going to current gen.
-
Dont like last gen? Git gud, I bought the game on my game cube
-
You're the average weight of a teenage girl. But I do agree that PS3 / 360 support is done.
-
"im holding down 2 jobs in retail" I would rather be homeless.
-
There are still plenty of people playing on 360 and PS3
-
My god the majority of you people act like buying an xbox one or ps4 is the equivalent to buying a car. It's been two years and you couldn't save to buy one? I bought one on release, and then traded a 360 and the games I had to buy my kids one as well. GameStop gave me so much trade credit I didn't have to pay a dollar and got an extra controller and another copy of destiny for the kids to play. There is really no excuse.

Edited by Clackytheclown: 10/11/2015 4:07:40 PMYou're pretty stupid if you think last gen should get dropped before Destiny 2. Just saying, you must not have thought it through. I'm no game designer, but I'm pretty sure they can't just patch in better graphics. They'd be reshipping Destiny. For a third time. I can see it now.... Destiny: The Pretty Edition. Only $60. Aren't there still two DLCs to go, too? Wouldn't they have to choose between investing into those and release the final Destiny collection, or investing into a pointless graphics overhaul- thereby abandoning a fine portion of their user base, and forgoing anything new for those who did shell more out for graphics? I'm no businessman either, but dropping last gen all of a sudden would lose them money and (more) respect. Look at the people who got upset at losing content because they didn't buy TTK. It'd be going from a $40 price wall, to a $350 price wall. Not a good idea, to say the least.

Its would be funny i would come and play my 140€ game and suddenly FK YOU BUY PS4 TO PLAY THIS AND YOU NEED BUY EVERTYHING AGAIN

Let the Taken King finish with all its DLC and then not make Destiny 2 for old gen. I'm saying this ad someone who plays on old gen. 360 and PS3 are holding PS4 and the Xbone back.
-
Impressive counters man.
-
If you buy me another PS4
-
It's not fair. Most gamers are kids that are not even out of high school. How can you demand them to buy something that cost over $300? Here were I live it cost me over $500 to upgrade. I'm not aiming that high in the future so I worked but come on man! Give the nerds a break!
-
Reading comments to posts like these is always fun :^) So, while it might be unfair to already drop old gen support, I would not give a singular flying rat's fart if it would happen tomorrow.
-
I have female friends(no girlfriend. Cost money to have one)
You're a pig. You say it like it's a tax or something... you know, I had a lot more I wanted to quote you on... but I'll just hit on some other points. The first Destiny should stay on old gen until Destiny 2 or whatever; THAT can be next gen. But year two started on old gen and should finish there. Another thing... if you hardly ever play Destiny, what gives you the right to make this statement? And JUST BECAUSE I'm last gen, does not make me lazy. I have other things my money needs to go to. It's wrong and prickish to even imply such. Awful post, try again never.

A lot of people who are saying people who can't afford next gen are poor, probably still live with their parents.
