Kings fall is an awesome raid but I feel doing it over and over would be a little repetitive after a while. So here's a suggestion: Make a 290 equivalent for all of the raids BUT rather than upgrading all the old raid gear to the new light, just replace them with legendary engrams that drop high light level items. It'd be a pretty simple switch and you could still give people shards/energy as they can be used to get glimmer and motes of light.
I think this would be awesome as the old raid are still lots of fun, there just isn't much reason to do them. It would also be an easy option for the future, as legendary engrams are hardly gonna change as time passes, as opposed to raid gear.
Thoughts everyone?

Just me then?

Mwuahhahaahahaaa!!!!! Ahem....ahem..... sorry. I like raids myself, but Bungie made me too powerful to find the Y1 raids and strikes challenging anymore and I'm too prideful to climb the paywall just to not be bored for another 3-6 months or less. Instead I take refuge in the crucible... seems to me we've both arrived at the same point, so to speak. My thoughts may be a tad useless, because they kinda need us to grind mindlessly until the next big $40 idea comes along. Major salute your 5 years of dedication. I don't own TTK so I'll have to ask you a few questions (if you don't mind) about the damn thing before I can shed a "little light". Would you care to tell me some of the things you like about King's Fall?

I think over time the old raids could be rolled out individually, with new reward sets. (Not year 2 versions of the same year 1 loot table). This would serve as intermediate content between expansions (cause if the next dlc comes out before january or february, we can count on it being bad).
