So look forward to the next update, the last nerf didn't fix issues around scrubbers using them plus the slide along the ground and a crotch shot kill is extremely annoying. Fire rate will be reduced further and range reduced and damage drop off affected massively no more one shot head kills with a shot gun. Get this one right Bungie so scrubbers can find other ways to ruin the game.

Edited by Pell_Impulse: 10/11/2015 8:05:07 AMRealistically certain shotguns can go up to 30 feet for a kill shot so I guess in real life you be like "god dam it I hate being killed 30 feet away from a shotgun that can shoot that far" my advice don't rush at other players because your just asking to be killed by a shotgun and then you should have the rang advantage with your fusion rifle I learned that the hard but now I get the most joy using fusion rifle in crucible when a shotgunner is trying to get close to me while I'm charging 1...maybe 2 solar beams at their chest. Just keep your distance and get snipe from across the map that you didn't know was there like a good destiny player. :p

1 ReplyWith limited shots and the need to get close enough to someone to kill them, I would say it does take some skill to use a shotgun effectively. If you are in a fairly open area and let someone close the distance between you and them with a shotgun before you can kill them with a ranged weapon then I would say that is lack of skill. Also if you are in close quarters and are using a weapon designed to be used at range instead of switching to a close range weapon then that is your own fault if you die. That could be comparable to saying it's unfair that that guy can kill me with a sniper rifle but he is too far away for me to shoot with my auto rifle so they should nerf the range and damage of a sniper rifle

Otherwise if I'm playing crucible and someone gets next to me and blows my brains out, that's my own fault lol
