People basically want something really good that is easy for them to get but almost impossible for everyone else.

Personally, I think the aesthetic customization sucks, the RPG elements are very shallow and "exotics" are either too easy or too random to obtain. But I've also accepted the fact that Destiny is and always will be catered to casuals so those things are never going to change. So I can either just accept the game for what it is or just stop playing (and supporting) it. Too many people here cry and whine rather than speak with their wallets.

Oh yeah the aesthetics do suck in this game, not enough variation that for sure and I'd like to see more but I know it won't happen (hopefully destiny 2 will correct this). As for exotics, the year one exotics were probably my favorite so far other than the rabbit and the supercell. Exotics lately don't seem to be up to the standards of what an "exotic" weapon should be and the armor isn't to die for either. For now I'll stick with destiny because I see potential and since I've only really spent $20 for the game I'm pretty ok with my investment.
