Sleeper Simulant doesn't "compete" with Ghallarhorn sorry Bungie it sucks KEY WORD "Compete" not saying it is the Ghorn not saying it's better

3 RepliesIt's not supposed to be better. Gjallarhorn was OP, we all knew it and Bungie knew it. The weren't going to make that mistake again. What they did was give us a unique, badass rail gun that is fun to use and can still wreck stuff. You can crit a major Cyclops from across the map in the Echo Chamber strike and kill it with 3 or 4 shots. Forget about Gjallarhorn guys. It's gone, and we're not getting another super OP heavy weapon that will just put the game back into easy mode and split the community again.

Sleeper simulant was never supposed to compete with Jgallarhorn. It was just there behind a time gate to keep us all interested in the game. Look how far people went to solve the mystery of this gun. Thinking that bungie really cared about it's player base and just not the money. What they did do though was break Jgallarhorn down into three parts and out of it's mangled frame they forged three swords. That when all three swords are brought together can take down almost any foe in a matter of seconds.

I'm really starting to wish the ghorn never existed so idiots like you will stop comparing it to everything that comes out. Why would bungie want to make another game breaking gun. Stop being lazy and taking a shortcut to boss kills and actually net the damage yourself. No one gun is just gonna fall into your lap and kill it for you, especially one that is acquired as easy as the sleeper.

It was never supposed to. They don't want weapons like the gally or icebreaker in the game anymore since that's all people end up using. The SS is great at range for dealing alot of dps. It's not meant to be the one and only weapon like the gally. Why don't people get this?

5 RepliesI just shot a dude for 43k damage. I'd say that rivals Ghorns quite a bit. 43k damage to a lesser, hits for about 24k on an ultra. Multiply that by 3. The answer? ASSWHOOPIN.

I took out most of Undying Minds health with it. Rockets McDickface doesn't like it either, so I think it's good for bullet sponges. I like it for precision hits, mostly. It's also probably not gonna be great until it's fully upgraded.

1 ReplyEdited by Spartan 872: 10/8/2015 7:38:57 PMIt seems like it does a ton of damage per critical but overall it feels underwhelming. I hit the Darkblade with criticals for all 7 shots and it maybe did 1/7 of his health. Just doesn't feel worth it. More ammo in the reserve would be nice.
