In my honest opinion, I've seen threads like these ever since Bungie put forth their paywall. I was saying that I do hope that these threads don't become a trending thing. You explained everything pretty well, without hate. But who's to say another user will come along and tell people what to do with their threads and control them with fear?

I understand your direction of that concern [spoiler]This was made before the policy as well. It's been bumped[/spoiler] If I were to be dissuaded to post in my own way by the possibility of others taking advantage of it I would have left long ago. My goal is to promote civility and communication. A bit of venom wouldn't have me recoil frand.
