Agreed. Don't have the Suros, but since getting year two hawkmoon I noticed that I am [i]ALWAYS[/i] out of ammo.
It really sucks cause I'm in a bit of a lull in loot, where the only good secondary I have is a sidearm (which promptly runs out of ammo) and I only just got a good rocket launcher where I only had my sword before.

Hawk moon is almost unusable on a raid - ammo runs out to fast. 60 rounds are slim and even with extra handgun rounds it's still slim pickings.

THIS. So much this. I actually infused my scout rifle with Hawkmoon, just because the reserves for hand cannons are so bad. And Hawkmoon is my favorite gun in the game :(
